About the role
As a Housekeeping Houseperson at Cedar Point, you will be responsible for the cleaning of all common areas within the Resort.
Responsibilities
- Clean all public areas of the hotel
- Clean with a variety of chemicals to ensure cleanliness of hotel and public areas
- Use a vacuum daily to maintain floors
- Collect trash from containers and pick up trash items in hotel and public areas
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas
- Perform all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements
- Report all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision
Employees hired into this position will be solicited for membership by the Midwest Regional Joint Board Union representing Sawmill Creek.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Able to push-pull a cart weighing 100 lbs with assistance
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
