Housekeeping Houseperson (PM Shift) | $1000 Sign-on Bonus

About the role

This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public spaces, stocking housekeeping supplies to CSM quality standards, and assisting housekeepers and guests as needed by providing friendly, courteous, and professional service. The role adheres to health regulations and follows CSM’s high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean hotel public spaces.
• Stock housekeeping supplies and linen.
• Deliver housekeeping-related items to guest rooms.
• Ensure guest satisfaction as it pertains to housekeeping service at the property.
• Assist and respond to guest requests in a positive and timely manner while providing high-quality service.
• Work as a team player to meet guests’ and department needs, contributing to the efforts of other departments as necessary.
• Follow CSM’s guest service recovery program.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with CSM, brand, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Report all maintenance needs and service issues.
• Use chemicals safely within the housekeeping department.
• Follow all CSM procedures for guest/employee incidents.
• Know hotel emergency procedures.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to meet required work volume.
• Adhere to CSM’s attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures.
• Attend all required department and hotel meetings.
• Use all equipment and supplies properly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Significant bending required.

Pay

$18.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

Variable days during the second shift (2:00–10:30 PM).
