The hotel features 248 guest rooms, 35,000 sq ft of meeting space including two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings, and 16 floors of JW Residences. Responsibilities

• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms, and restock heavy carts.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Represent JW Marriott’s brand identity, values, and pillars.
• Assist co-workers with job duties and maintain a team-oriented approach.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition and professional appearance.
• Strong guest communication skills.
• Willingness to assist co-workers and work as a team player.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms overhead, and work in confined spaces.
• Problem-solving mindset with a passion for hospitality.
• Previous Marriott experience preferred.
