About the role
Wildflower Farms, Auberge Collection is a 140-acre retreat in New York's Hudson Valley, just 90 minutes from New York City. Anchored by its namesake farm with orchards, heirloom gardens, and animals, the retreat offers immersive seasonal experiences like foraging walks, cooking workshops, and healing sessions. A three-mile walking trail links 65 stand-alone cabins, cottages, and suites with the Movement Studio and Maplehouse, a lofty barn home to a dynamic cooking school.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas, including corridors, lobbies, and restrooms, to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Clean and maintain guest rooms to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Assist in setting up and breaking down spaces, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are well-organized
- Transport and deliver linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies to housekeeping staff as needed
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to address special requests and ensure a coordinated approach to cleaning activities
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damages in public areas to ensure prompt resolution
Qualifications
- One-year Housekeeping/Houseman experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
- Able to read and write in English
