Manor Vail Lodge is one of Vail's original and iconic properties, offering studio, one, two, and three-bedroom condominiums plus luxury penthouses. This full-service condominium property features amenities such as two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, a spa, fitness center, The Fitz Bar, and Ridge + River restaurant. Located steps from Vail Village, Golden Peak ski area, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge provides a premier lodging experience in Vail.

The Housekeeping House Attendant provides supplies and assistance to Housekeeping Staff, Manager on Duty, and Front Desk Staff while helping maintain the cleanliness of the property’s public spaces. This is a part-time seasonal role requiring availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Moves and arranges furniture.
  • Turns mattresses.
  • Arranges decorations, apparatus, or furniture for banquets and social functions.
  • Collects soiled linens for laundering and receives and stores linen supplies in the linen closet.
  • Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and locker rooms, as well as other work areas.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
  • Cleans fireplaces.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays, if applicable.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies.
  • Replaces light bulbs.
  • Delivers television sets, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guest rooms.
  • Cleans and removes debris and snow from walkways and stairways.
  • Supports overall housekeeping operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform basic math operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Bilingual skills are helpful but not required.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and taste or smell.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include distance vision and peripheral vision.

Work Environment

  • Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
