Overview
The Banquet Server serves meals to patrons in food and beverage establishments. They also help set up, replenish items, and tear down events.

Qualifications
- Able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Earn $12.14/hr plus gratuities.
Job Duties
- Set up and Break down of Banquet Rooms to prepare for functions and daily breakfast service.
- Opening and Closing duties of breakfast room as assigned by supervisor.
- Serves patrons from chafing dish at table.
- Serves patrons pre-plated meals at table.
- May act as a bartender.
- Observes guests to respond to any additional requests.
- Brews coffee and performs other services as determined by supervisor.
- Clears and resets tables as necessary.
- May operate beverage machinery.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
- No Computer skills needed.
Certificates and Licenses
- Able to obtain a TIPs or local Responsible alcohol awareness certificate
