About the role

Perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Schedule

Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Shift: Evenings

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in accordance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned duties
• Perform manual tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Engage with the public and provide customer service

Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Qualifications

Minimum

• No formal education required
• No prior experience required

Preferred

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior hospital environmental service experience
• Experience following written and verbal instructions
• Previous experience performing manual tasks
• Prior customer service experience
