Housekeeping/EVS Worker I - Full Time - Days
Job Summary
The Housekeeping/EVS Worker I performs cleaning and service functions in patient and non-patient areas in both hospital and hospital owned buildings. Responsibilities include following cleaning assignments, cleaning up after accidents, reporting damage or abuse, and supporting laundry services.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Receive and follow cleaning assignments as directed
- Clean assigned office and common areas
- Cleanup after accidents or abnormal spills when asked to do so
- Report damage or abuse of property, maintenance concerns, and any fire or safety hazards
- Clean and store all equipment and supplies
- Perform any additional duties delegated from the Manager/Supervisor
Education/Experience Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent education is preferred. Experience in healthcare is also preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
No specific licensure or certification is required for this position.
