Responsibilities
- Vacuum areas with carpeting.
- Sweep and mop tile, linoleum and stone floors.
- Empty, sanitize and re-line trash receptacles.
- Clean and sanitize bathroom and bathroom fixtures.
- Clean over-bed tables, phones, light switches, windows and blinds.
- Replace disposable items.
- Clean beds, mattresses and call cords.
- Collect trash and remove recyclable materials from offices and public areas.
- Perform pest control duties.
- Collect and remove bio-hazard for shipment.
- Clean and ready OR rooms.
- Routine cleaning in OR.
- Clean and maintain recovery room.
- Stock linens and scrubs for nurses and doctors.
- Receive linen, stock throughout hospital and doctor's offices.
- Ready soiled linen for pick up.

Qualifications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality; work independently and be self-motivated; exercise tact and discretion.
- Work effectively under time and pressure.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, material and cleaning machines.
- Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets a plus.
- Ability to perform manual tasks requiring lifting or 75 pounds or more and operate cleaning equipment required.
