The Navy Inn at Naval Air Station Fallon, NV — the Navy’s premier tactical aviator training facility and home of “Top Gun” — is seeking a Part-time Housekeeping Attendant to support our high-volume military lodging operation. This role is ideal for a natural team player who values discretion, operational security, and delivering excellent service to our military community. No military affiliation is required to apply.

About the role

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll join a dedicated team ensuring our lodges remain tidy and welcoming for military guests. Your work directly supports critical initiatives across military bases, advancing how we serve our service members and their families. No two days will be the same in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and assigned areas, including making beds, inspecting furniture/equipment for wear, restocking room amenities, and vacuuming hallways or common areas.
• Communicate the status of cleaned rooms to supervisors via daily assignments or property management systems.
• Manage linen for assigned rooms and operate cleaning equipment.
• Complete minor maintenance requests for broken or defective items.
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory, and organization of assigned housekeeping carts.

Requirements

• Moderate physical effort, including moving furniture, using hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Preferred experience in general housekeeping duties (e.g., vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, polishing, trash removal, linen transport).
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but no prior experience is required.
