About the role

Join us as a Part-time Housekeeping Attendant at The Navy Inn, Fallon, NV with the Navy Exchange Service Command. Eligible for $600 Hiring Incentive (Must meet eligibility requirements).

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and other assigned areas.
• This includes but is not limited to cleaning, making beds, inspecting furniture/equipment for wear, restock room amenities, vacuuming of hallways, corridors or other common areas etc.
• Communicate status of cleaned rooms and spaces to supervisor through completion of daily assignments or property management systems in the housekeeping department.
• Responsible for linen for their assigned rooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment, inspect equipment, completes some maintenance requests for broken, defective or items in need of replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory and organization of assigned carts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality or a similar setting is a plus but not required!
• Physical requirements: moderate physical effort, moving furniture, use of hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Preferred experience performing the following: general housekeeping duties, to include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, moving items, polishing, cleaning, removal of debris/trash, transporting clean and dirty linen towels, etc.
