About the role

Continental Springs, a Skilled Nursing provider in South Sioux City, Nebraska, is currently recruiting for Full-time or Part-time Housekeepers to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Making beds and changing linens
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, rugs, and floors
• Using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other tools
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Washing blinds
• Tidying up rooms
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
• Other assigned duties

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent education
• Knowledge and experience of cleaning and sanitizing rooms
• Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members
