A Day in the Life of a Housekeeping Staff
As a housekeeper, you will be led by a veteran leader, Linda Preuss, who will offer you training, guidance and wisdom to ensure your success in your role. Sometimes you will function as a floor technician, cleaning, stripping and waxing floors and carpets throughout the facility. Sometimes you will function as a housekeeper, cleaning the resident rooms, restrooms, hallways and common areas. With a close eye for detail, you ensure quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new admissions. Sometimes you will work with Linda on special projects that are completely quarterly.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work some weekends as assigned
- Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- A willingness to learn is required
- Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members

This full-time position offers flexibility in your schedule. Your manager will work with you to create a schedule that meets your needs as well as our facility's needs.
