McPherson Health and Rehab in McPherson, KS is looking to hire a Housekeeping Staff member to join our team.

About the role

As a Housekeeping Staff member, you play a vital role in our community. With a close eye for detail, you ensure quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new admissions. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Collect soiled laundry, linens, and garments
• Wash and dry laundry per instruction
• Separate, fold, and/or hang garments and deliver to respective areas
• Enhance safety and sanitary conditions
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members

Pay

$14.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time position with 8-hour shifts and a flexible schedule. Part-time positions also available.
