About the role

Colby Health and Rehab in Colby, KS is looking to hire Housekeeping Staff to join our team. This position is available full time or part time.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Perform quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new admissions.
• Enhance safety and sanitary conditions in all areas.
• Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn as needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.
