About the role

Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
• Stock cart with room supplies
• Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies
• Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment
• Maintain facilities in a sanitary condition
• Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (e.g., leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair)

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
• Ability to bend, lift, and be standing or walking all day
• Lifting requirement: up to 30 lbs.
