Housekeeping

Under the supervision and direction of the Senior Program/Branch Director, this role maintains the cleanliness of the facility, equipment, and grounds in a functional, efficient, and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Follow all risk management guidelines according to branch Policies and Procedures.
• Report all accidents and incidents on the appropriate form, ensuring forms are filled out correctly and submitted to the front desk.
• Notify supervisor of any concerns with the facility or equipment to ensure safety.
• Enforce all program rules and policies.
• Be knowledgeable and prepared to implement emergency procedures.
• Secure outside assistance for building tasks beyond experience level.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions of facilities.
• Perform duties deemed necessary by management staff.
• Keep custodial and maintenance areas organized and clean, minimizing supply costs through mindful usage.
• Foam, clean pool, and locker room areas.
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks in the winter.
• Keep entrances and exits clean and attractive.
• Follow and help implement OSHA and MSDS standards and procedures.
• Use wet floor signs when cleaning.
• Replace lights and refill dispensers throughout the facility.
• Complete a checklist of daily duties and clean areas in need of attention.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Support Strong Community Campaign efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Impact

• Net Promoter Scores will positively reflect the clean and safe conditions of the facility.
• Membership retention will be influenced by the overall appearance of the association.
