Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain retail and warehouse areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and customer seating areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors regularly to remove dirt, debris, and spills.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, shelves, fixtures, and displays.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops.
• Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins throughout the facility.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities.
• Notify management of any shortages or maintenance issues.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety hazards, PPE, and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
