Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and professional Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness in our holiday cottages, helping to ensure an excellent experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning our holiday cottages to a high standard
• Occasionally assisting with cleaning of the visitor attraction side of the Castle
• Occasionally supporting evening events when scheduled, including pre- and post-event cleaning
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• A strong work ethic with good attention to detail
• Able to manage physical tasks and work in a large outdoor/heritage environment
• Flexible and reliable, including weekend and occasional evening work
• Due to the location of the castle and holiday cottages, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is strongly preferred

Pay

£13.00 per hour
