Housekeeping Assistant

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, disinfect, and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and other assigned areas
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
• Properly use approved cleaning products and equipment
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Compassion and respect for elderly and disabled residents
• Dependable with regular and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position
