About the Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant at Miller’s, you are responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building. You play a key role in patient and visitor safety, comfort, and satisfaction. You adhere to all State and Federal regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards. You respond positively to requests from your supervisor, patients, their families, and staff, and interact with each positively.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building
- Follow instructions and cleaning schedules
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and other applicable regulations and policies
- Deliver great customer service as part of a dedicated team
- Maintain professional and appropriate appearance, conversation, and behavior
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
- Willingness to learn and follow required regulations and policies
- Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening, including a physical examination
- Satisfactorily pass required orientation and training
Exposure Category II: Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category I tasks.
Pay
$12–$13.00 per hour
Schedule
Full and part-time positions available, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
