Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Miller’s, you are responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building. You play a key role in patient and visitor safety, comfort, and satisfaction. You adhere to all State and Federal regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards. You respond positively to a variety of requests from your supervisor, patients, their families, and staff, and you interact with each positively.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions and cleaning schedules
• Prioritize tasks and manage details to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and other regulatory standards

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cleanliness standards
• Ability to perform a variety of housekeeping duties
• Willingness to learn and follow applicable regulations and policies
• Passion for delivering great customer service
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
• Professional and appropriate appearance, conversation, and behavior
• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
• Able to pass a physical examination for employment within the facility
• Satisfactorily complete required orientation and training

Exposure Category

Category II: Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category I tasks.

Pay

$12–$13.00 per hour

Schedule

Full and part-time positions available, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
