Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Housekeeping Aide to join our team of professionals. As an important member of our team, you will perform day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Your role includes performing daily housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Disinfecting surfaces and equipment
• Polishing furniture and fixtures
• Emptying wastebaskets and replenishing supplies
• Cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior health-care experience preferred
