Housekeeping Assistant

About the Role

Hickory House is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join our team. This role performs day-to-day housekeeping services to ensure a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. We believe every job in our company plays a vital role in our continued growth and commitment to providing quality patient care.

Experience is preferred but not required—we will provide training. We offer opportunities for growth and development through working with strong multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Disinfecting surfaces and polishing furniture
• Emptying wastebaskets and replenishing supplies
• Cleaning patient and common areas
• Making independent decisions when circumstances require
• Maintaining professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and patients
• Exhibiting excellent customer service and a positive attitude

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior healthcare experience preferred

Schedule

Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with every other weekend coverage from 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM). Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
