Housekeeping and Laundry Aide

About the role

Transitions Healthcare Autumn Grove Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a neat facility at all times and providing laundry services to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and orderly facility
• Provide laundry services for residents
• Perform a variety of repetitive cleaning tasks
• Work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
• Enhance a positive physical, emotional, and psychological environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally unstable, and/or volatile patients

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in an Assisted Living/Nursing Facility
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to function independently and with flexibility
• Personal integrity and genuine caring for residents and staff
• Ability to work effectively in a professional environment
