Housekeeping and Laundry Aide

Location: 1451 Cleveland Ave, Waukesha, WI

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment; pick up outside refuse.
• Dress in the appropriate uniform, report to the assigned workstation promptly, and work consistently for the entire shift.
• Operate washers and dryers; sort, wash, and fold laundry.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Attend all facility and department in‑service training.
• Cooperate with all employees to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to the facility safety program.
• Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the department head or facility administrator.

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Capability to operate laundry equipment and handle sorting, washing, and folding of linens.
• Willingness to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Commitment to wearing the required uniform and arriving on time for each shift.
• Readiness to attend mandatory training sessions.
• Team‑oriented attitude and cooperation with fellow staff members.
• Adherence to safety protocols and facility policies.

Pay

$12‑$14 hourly

Schedule

Full‑time position; hours are 7 am – 3 pm with every other weekend required.
