Housekeeping and Laundry Aide

Join the Faith Haven Senior Care team! Our Housekeeping & Laundry Aides perform a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all of our guests and residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness in resident areas, public areas, and support offices
• Collect and sort soiled linen
• Load and unload washing machines
• Fold clean linen
• Count the amount of linen processed each day
• Deliver clean laundry to assigned units
• Clean and sanitize the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas
• Dust mop and damp mop resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, sitting and lobby areas, and other areas as assigned
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and soiled linen
• Mix and handle chemicals in a safe manner
• Strip and refinish floors, clean and shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean blinds, as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
• Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done

Pay

Starting wages $15.25 - $17.20 per hour depending on experience, plus:

• Hero Pay ($0.85 per hour)
• $1.00 Shift Premium for Weekend Shifts
• Yearly Wage Increases

Schedule

• Full Time - 8 shifts per pay period
• 8 hour shifts - Include rotating Weekends
• Mornings / Day shift
