Housekeeping Aide – Full Time-Environmental Services -Evenings- Every other Weekend and Holidays Required
About the Role
At NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, our housekeeping staff is essential to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our patients and their families. From friendly smiles and conversations to the continuous focus on infection control, our housekeeping professionals help provide a positive experience for everyone within our hospital.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and a culture of compassion, caring, warmth, and support within our hospital.
- Interact with patients and their families.
- Go above and beyond for patients to deliver superior customer service and always ensure their comfort and safety.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Capable of handling automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums.
- Ability to read and understand English.
Preferred Criteria
- Extensive customer service experience and a desire to put patients first.
Schedule
Full-time, 3:00pm – 11:00pm, including every other weekend and holidays. Located at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, right across the Metro North Station.
