About the role

Fonda Specialty Care is a 46-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Fonda, IA. We are currently seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Aide to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily housekeeping and laundry duties following established task lists and procedures to support cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules and service areas with attention to detail, sanitation, and infection prevention while collaborating effectively with the care team.
• Engage respectfully and professionally with residents and guests, contributing to a positive and supportive facility atmosphere.

Requirements

• Someone who can complete assignments timely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar position preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
