About the role
Housekeepers (Room Attendants) are responsible for cleaning, restocking, and maintaining rooms of a hotel or cabins. You will maintain a pleasant ambiance by meeting tidiness and cleanliness standards throughout the location, creating a better and safer guest environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to time and cleanliness standards including changing bed sheets, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
- Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy, and care.
- Maintain Room Attendant cart and related equipment such as vacuums and mops.
- Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns to the Rooms Inspector.
- Comply with procedures for chemical use and room cleaning systems.
- Comply with key security and use procedures.
- Comply with proper Lost & Found procedures.
- Comply with environmental policies and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining linen room cleanliness and complete linen counts as required.
- Maintain knowledge about location and hours to be able to assist guests with their questions.
- Assist other departments as needed, including six-day work weeks during times of staffing needs.
- Perform other assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and count accurately.
- Ability to follow work patterns consistently.
- Ability to communicate with others effectively.
- No prior experience necessary.
Physical requirements
- Stretching, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing up and down stairs each shift.
- Making beds, stripping rooms, cleaning toilets each shift.
- Complete a list of 14 - 20 rooms (with and without bath units).
- The ability to push 50-75 pounds on a frequent basis, moving housekeeping carts and several hundred-pound linen bins.
- Working with required chemicals daily.
Schedule
Seasonal position for Fall Season (September 2026 - October 2026). Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays).

$15.70/hr
