Housekeeper - Wyndham Orange Tree Resort

About the role

A Housekeeper will support general resort operations by cleaning resort units and maintaining resort quality standards. This role involves cleaning sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms, as well as adhering to housekeeping detail standards. Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, cleaning lobbies, making beds, replenishing supplies (such as kitchenware and toiletries), sorting, counting, folding, marking, or carrying linens, and maintaining positive customer and associate relationships.

This role will also respond to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction and handle guest issues to resolution to improve the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean resort units, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
• Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards.
• Vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies.
• Make beds and replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries.
• Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
• Maintain positive customer and associate relationships.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest issues to resolution to improve the guest experience.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and owners.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with a team focus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Pay

The hourly wage for this role is $17.50.
