Housekeeper / Room Attendant

About the role

Hyatt Place in North Charleston is seeking reliable Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join our room operations team. We take pride in providing guests with spotless, comfortable rooms and world‑class service.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, and sanitize guest rooms according to Hyatt brand standards.
• Change bed linens and replenish towels, toiletries, and room amenities.
• Deep clean bathrooms, mirrors, and hard surfaces.
• Manage and restock your housekeeping cart efficiently throughout your shift.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost‑and‑found items to supervisors.
• Provide friendly, polite service when intersecting with guests in hallways.

Requirements

• Prior hotel housekeeping or professional residential cleaning experience is a plus (training provided for the right candidate).
• Strong physical stamina: ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 30 lbs, and push/pull heavily loaded housekeeping carts.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) are highly encouraged.
