Housekeeper - Part Time (Sat, Sun, Mn - 8a-4p)

The Bristal Assisted Living seeks to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for its residents through exceptional housekeeping services. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy making a difference in the lives of others and are passionate about hospitality and senior care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, offices, and surrounding areas clean according to housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of all areas within the community.
• Provide a friendly, courteous, and positive attitude during interactions with residents, resident families, guests, and team members.
• Work closely with the Director of Housekeeping to follow guidelines and ensure all cleaning tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Work at least one weekend day per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).

Requirements

• A pleasant and courteous demeanor when interacting with peers, supervisors, guests, residents, and management.
• Experience providing cleaning services in the restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, hospitality, or similar industries.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle demanding customers.
• Strong communication skills, especially in English.
• Able to adapt to different personalities and situations in a positive manner.
• Reliability, care, and positivity in actions and demeanor.
• An abiding respect for the elderly and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Background check and drug screening required.
