Housekeeper Part-Time, Center for the Arts

About the role

The Center for the Arts seeks Housekeepers to maintain the cleanliness of the building and grounds, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing, clean, sanitary, and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine and urgent need services before, during, and after events
• Work a varying schedule, including day, evening, and weekend hours
• Perform tasks such as floor cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, gathering and removing trash, and leaf blowing
• Safely and responsibly operate powered and manual equipment
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Monitor supplies and inventory
• Report needed building repairs, damages, and unsafe conditions

Requirements

• Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, commercial/industrial cleaning methods and safety protocols
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work a varying schedule

Qualifications

• Pay Band 1
• Overtime Status: Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• Appointment Type: Regular
• Hours per week: Variable
