Housekeeper (Part-Time)

About the role

The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking a self-motivated, energetic Housekeeper to join our team-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, sanitary, attractive environment
• Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage
• Other housekeeping duties as needed such as cleaning and maintaining floors

Pay

• Salary: $10.34 hourly
• Locality Premium: $7.89 per hour
• 15% on top of base pay for all hours worked on second and third shifts
• 25% on top of base pay for all hours worked on a holiday or weekend

Schedule

• Part-time (less than 100 hr/month)
• 40.0 hr/week
• Eligible for overtime pay

• No minimum education required
• No experience, training, or skills required
• No special requirements (age, licensure, regulation, etc.)
• This agency is prohibited from hiring employees with convictions identified in 906 KAR 1:190
• A fingerprint-supported national background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment
