Housekeeper (Part-Time)

About the role

The Part-Time Housekeeper is an essential team member who maintains the overall appeal of our apartment community while displaying a warm, friendly personality. This is a great opportunity for those with general janitorial or cleaning experience to build a career with plenty of room for growth on the Fairfield Property Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Property Curb Appeal: Perform daily property walks to keep the property looking clean and tidy. Clean common areas such as pools, gyms, laundry rooms, and offices. Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and tile grout.
• Operations: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies. Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Customer Service: Respond to resident and staff needs promptly. Communicate updates and escalate issues as needed.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety and OSHA requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Housekeeper or similar position is preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• General computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of and ability to use standard cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays as necessary.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Pay

The estimated rate of pay for this position is $17.10 - $19.95 per hour. The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
