About the role
The Housekeeper at Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department Environmental Services performs terminal cleaning of patient rooms after discharge, as well as cleaning nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas, and public restrooms.
Responsibilities
- Making beds
- Emptying trash
- Wiping equipment
- Cleaning furniture
- Polishing floors
- Vacuuming carpets
- Cleaning restrooms
- Laundering hospital linen
- Daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment
- Assorted duties as assigned
Requirements
The successful candidate will receive training on cleaning chemicals and demonstrate competency in their proper usage, disposal, and safety measures.
Schedule
Shift: 6:00PM - 10PM Monday-Friday.
