About the role
Responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents in a long-term care facility. Duties include assisting with daily activities, medication management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Affectionately known as the 'housekeeper' of the facility, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility needs.
- Maintaining accurate records of medications and treatments administered.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with residents.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Schedule
