Housekeeper II (Night shift and rotating weekends)

About the role

This position keeps the facility in a clean and sanitary condition following established policies and procedures. With a particular emphasis on patient and non‑patient units, it cleans and maintains patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas within the healthcare facilities. The role also performs various janitorial/environmental services necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary facility in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Focus on both patient and non‑patient units, ensuring thorough cleaning of patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Perform janitorial and environmental services to support a safe and healthy environment.
• Utilize commercial floor‑maintenance equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent housekeeping or environmental services experience (required).
• Floor maintenance: Minimum 1 year of experience using commercial floor‑maintenance equipment (required).
• Healthcare setting: Preferred 1 year of experience working in a health‑care environment.
• Licenses: Preferred licenses (specific licenses not listed).
