Housekeeper (Night Shift)

About the role

Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Night Shift Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join their Environmental Services team. The position involves performing routine cleaning tasks, managing resident linens and laundry, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, hallways, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas during the overnight shift.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident linens and personal laundry.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces using proper infection prevention and control procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment throughout the facility.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or equipment problems promptly.
• Follow all OSHA, infection control, and facility safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to ensure residents' needs are met.
• Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, environmental services, or custodial experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Able to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be available to work the overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Pay

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, skills, and applicable market factors. Final pay may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate's experience and credentials.
