Housekeeper - Full Time: Sunday - Thursday 8am-4pm

As a Housekeeper in our luxury assisted living community, you will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents, mirroring the standards of a high-end hotel. Your role involves cleaning resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, offices, and surrounding spaces while upholding housekeeping standards and procedures. A friendly, courteous, and positive attitude is essential, as you will frequently interact with residents, their families, guests, and team members.

The care, attention to detail, and customer service you provide are vital to the quality of life and well-being of our residents. You must be available to work at least one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, offices, and surrounding areas according to housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed swiftly yet thoroughly, with a focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment.
• Interact professionally and pleasantly with residents, their families, guests, and team members.
• Adhere to guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Contribute to the quality of life and general well-being of residents through attentive and respectful service.

Requirements

• A pleasant and courteous demeanor when dealing with peers, supervisors, guests, residents, and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing demanding customer expectations.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to adjust positively to different personality types and situations.
• Reliability, a caring attitude, and a consistently positive demeanor.
• An abiding respect for the elderly and the ability to remain calm at all times.
• Availability to work at least one weekend day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience providing cleaning services in the restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, hospitality, or similar industry is a plus.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred.
