Housekeeper, Full-time, Retreat Center

About the role

The Housekeeper position at Maryville Retreat Center involves working every other weekend, with the possibility to work every weekend as needed. Shifts typically run from 11:00 am - 7:30 pm, Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, with occasional shifts from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Responsibilities

• Making beds, laundering, and replenishing linens
• Cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms
• Vacuuming and cleaning floors
• Assisting with dining services as needed (prepping and serving food, delivering excellent customer service)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of housekeeping or cleaning experience

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying event schedules and guest reservations
• Ability to work weekends and potentially early mornings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving furniture and equipment

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $15.50 - $20.06 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.
