Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top-quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917.

About the role

This individual cleans and keeps the hospital environment in an orderly condition.

• Cleans offices, patient rooms, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and any other areas that may require attention.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors, and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space.
• Properly and safely uses cleaning chemicals per given standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Must be able to use housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, battery-operated equipment, mops, and carpet equipment.
• Reading and numerical competency.
• Customer service skills.
