About the role
To assist the area supervisor with the daily operations and work load needs in the housekeeping department. Fills in for the area Housekeeping Manager in case of absence. Performs duties of a housekeeper at Lincoln County Medical Center.
Pay
Pay Range Minimum Offer: $16.37 – Maximum Offer: $24.89
Schedule
Full time, varied days and hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Inspect and survey for compliance with departmental housekeeping and cleanliness standards with proper documentation.
- Assist Environmental Service Supervisor with staff assignments and work scheduling.
- Provide input for Environmental Service staff evaluations, as needed.
- Demonstrate component and safe use of cleaning materials/equipment, and explain methods of cleaning to ensure the most efficient and economical use of materials and staff.
- Participate in applicable/related educational programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
- One to three years experience in healthcare housekeeping.
- Good communication skills.
