Yellowstone Mountain Club, LLC d/b/a Yellowstone Club, located in Big Sky, Montana, seeks seventy-five (75) full-time, temporary Housekeepers for the 2026/2027 winter season.

About the role

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining luxury homes and lodges ranging from 1,000 sq. ft. to over 20,000 sq. ft. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Make beds and change linens
  • Clean bathrooms, including disinfecting surfaces
  • Dust furniture, pictures, window ledges, and shelves
  • Vacuum floors, sweep, scrub, mop, and polish hardwood, laminate, and specialty tiled floors
  • Remove trash and clean kitchens
  • Launder homeowner linens, terry, and towels using residential-style washing machines during in-home cleaning service
  • Replenish linens, towels, and room amenities
  • Clean interior windows using a cloth and cleaning spray
  • Deep clean and shampoo carpeted areas
  • Report damage to supervisors
  • Maintain cleaning totes, carts, linen rooms, housekeeping equipment, and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Occasionally perform quality checks and participate in peer training

Requirements

  • Three (3) months of housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club
  • Ability to climb stairs, make and change linens on bunk beds, and balance on bunk bed ladders
  • Ability to carry items upstairs and occasionally work in restricted spaces
  • Frequently lift up to 25 pounds
  • Complete a pre-employment background check at the employer’s expense
  • All worksites are located in Gallatin and Madison Counties in Montana; occasional travel throughout this area is required
  • Transportation between worksites is provided by the employer

Transportation & Housing

  • Transportation is available to and from housing venues to Yellowstone Club; employees not in employer-provided housing must arrange their own transportation to pickup/drop-off spots
  • Additional transportation options include public services such as Skyline, Streamline, LMLC, UBER/Lyft, and taxi services
  • Optional seasonal housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis for workers relocating for employment
  • Housing costs range from $225.00 to $700.00 biweekly, depending on location and room style, and are due in advance
  • Housing options include single or double-room occupancy; a few couples' options may be available
  • A refundable security deposit of $250.00 to $400.00 is required upon acceptance of housing
  • Bedding and terry are not provided but are available for purchase through the housing portal ($112–$160 per set)
  • Housing payments are managed via the StarRez online portal; a small service fee applies to non-ACH transactions

Pay

  • Guaranteed wage of $20.61 per hour, paid bi-weekly
  • Overtime available at $30.92 per hour
  • Service-charge eligible position; employer guarantees prevailing wage rate or overtime wage rate in any workweek when total compensation (including service charges) does not meet the required rate

Schedule

  • 35 hours per week guaranteed, with additional hours available during peak times, including overtime
  • Work schedule varies and may include morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Shifts may be scheduled any day of the week (Monday through Sunday) and can vary by location (e.g., 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 12:00 PM–7:00 PM)

  • Employer guarantees work for at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period
  • Transportation and subsistence reimbursement:
    • Employer pays or reimburses inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek
    • Upon completing 50% of the contract, employer pays or reimburses transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment
    • Upon contract completion or early dismissal, employer covers reasonable return transportation and subsistence costs (except if the worker secures subsequent employment)
    • Daily subsistence reimbursement: $16.78 per day (up to $68.00 per day with receipts)
  • H-2B workers reimbursed in the first workweek for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and related government-mandated fees (excluding passport fees)
  • Optional benefits for workers:
    • Purchase of a ski pass
    • After reaching 3,200 hours (subject to conditions), workers achieve “Key Seasonal” status and may qualify for:
      • Medical, dental, and vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield
      • Vacation and sick time accrual
    • 401k enrollment available for both “Key Seasonal” and “Seasonal” workers
