About the role

The White Barn Inn, a beloved landmark in Kennebunk, Maine, is seeking a Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. Our property, known for its warm hospitality and coastal charm, offers a unique blend of luxury and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
• Inspect and report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to ensure prompt resolution.
• Ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness standards and policies in all assigned areas.
• Restock and maintain inventory of guest room supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Requirements

• One year of previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout the shift
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Bilingual is a plus
