Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring optimum property safety and cleanliness: To provide a welcoming impression, maintain a pristine environment for our guest and team members while providing unmatched guest service and professionalism.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for general cleaning such as carpets, windows, gaming machines, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas, as directed by the Lead EVS Attendant and/or Facilities Supervisor.
- Follows checklists, guidelines for efficient and clean operation of assigned areas.
- Attends and participates in pre-shift briefings, arrive on time.
- Attends/ Completes Remote online and On-Site training.
- Adheres to OSHA and Hazcom safe work practices.
- Aids in the maintenance of all storage areas, equipment maintenance, and chemical labeling.
- Maintains equipment condition and uses all equipment correctly to ensure that it is functional for the team.
- Ensures that all carts, storage areas are organized and maintained in good order.
- Solves problems that are within the position's scope of authority, communicate recommend courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.
- Performs other duties assigned by Housekeeping Leads and Supervisors.
Required Skills And Abilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and adjust pace in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Basic Computer skills IT knowledge necessary.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Virgina racing license.
- Minimum of One to Three years of experience in commercial cleaning or related, hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Other combination of education and experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Team Members will need to maintain open availability to work overnights, weekends, and Holidays.
- Team Members will be required to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Team Members may be required to lift up to 25-50 pounds repeatedly during shift.
- Team Members may be required to work within a smoky environment during shift.
- Team Members will be required to maintain cleanliness and sanitization of restrooms, dealing with unpleasant sights/ smells.
- Team Members will often complete duties while around and interacting with high volumes of guests.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, flashing lights, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb/ use ladder or step stools balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
