Position Overview
Perform any combination of light cleaning duties in a clean and orderly manner.
Specific Responsibilities
- Make Beds
- Empty Trash
- Wipe Equipment, Clean Furniture, Polish Floors and Vacuum Carpets
- Collect Dirty Laundry from Patient Areas and Distribute Clean Linen and Hospital Gowns to Appropriate Floors
- Take Daily Inventory and Inspect Equipment for Repair and Replacement
- Other Tasks as Assigned
Competencies
- Excellent Customer Service
- Good Oral Communication Skills
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- GED Preferred
- Two Years' Experience
Physical Demands
- Regularly Required to Talk or Hear
- Frequently Required to Use Hands to Finger, Handle or Feel Objects, Tools or Controls
- Occasionally Required to Stand; Walk; Sit; Reach with Hands and Arms; Climb or Balance; and Stoop, Kneel, Crouch or Crawl
- Occasionally Lift and/or Move Objects Up to 25 Pounds
