Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team of professionals. Peregrine Senior Living is known for innovative leadership in memory care-based programs and is redefining standards in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor.
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment including iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, and vacuums.
• Understand cleaning chemicals and products required for the job.

Requirements

• One year of experience in a similar environment such as a senior living community, nursing home, or any healthcare field preferred.
• Able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Schedule

Full Time (7:00am - 3:00pm) with alternating weekends.

Pay

$17.00 - 18.00 per hour – based on experience.
