Housekeeper
About the role
Napa Valley Care Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing compassionate care in a supportive environment. The housekeeping team plays a crucial role in ensuring that the living spaces are clean, comfortable, and welcoming for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and maintain floors
- Restock housekeeping supplies as needed
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests
- Create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff
- Work collaboratively with all departments to support resident care
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion for seniors and a commitment to excellent service
- Able to follow cleaning and infection-control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
